For the Museum of Mississippi History in Jackson, Mississippi, the Design Minds created an immersive, comprehensive story of the people of Mississippi intimately tied to land they made their home, spanning from prehistoric times to today. The design team worked closely with the client and architect to create a museum experience specifically tailored to the brand new building. The exhibits invite visitors to explore the state’s complex and vibrant history through breathtaking vistas, exhilarating stories, expressive voices, and detailed period tableaux, as well as dozens of state-of-the-art interactives seamlessly interwoven with thousands of historic artifacts from the collection.
