Redesigned exhibits at Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center interpret the legacy of this bloody battle for a new generation. Visitors experience the story of Antietam through the lens of five universal concepts: Conflict, Terror, Survival, Freedom, and Memory. Exhibits leverage multiple perspectives, engaging artifact displays, and interactive elements to bring the story of this site to life. Exterior displays include interpretive signage and a 15-foot sculpture depicting a key moment in the battle.
