Museum of Utah

Salt Lake City, Utah | 18,000 sq. ft.

Located on Salt Lake City’s Capitol Hill, the new Museum of Utah aims to make all residents—longtime or new—feel represented. Focusing on human and contemporary history from time immemorial to the present, its exhibits foster connection, reflection, and a sense of belonging. Visitors can explore four thematic galleries and a dedicated space for temporary exhibits. Engaging imagery, tactile components, interactive elements, and artifact displays reveal the state’s history and cultures. Three theaters illuminate the enduring presence of Utah-based tribes, the hardworking people of Utah, and ways that Utah has inspired generations of residents and visitors.
