Design Minds created a series of vibrant environmental graphics that fill the walls of the six-story Mossman science building. Inspired by the bar shapes of DNA markers, as well as the blocked paneling and vertical lines of the architecture, we created a flexible design system that merged well with the building’s walls.
 
The system allowed for multiple image collages juxtaposing abstract, artistic microscopic close-ups with photos of engaged, hands-on students and faculty. We collaborated with the university’s life science departments in selecting images that are both visually engaging and appropriate for their work. The result is a colorful environment that speaks to the wonders of life and the inspiration for discoveries yet to come.
